watches from Audemars Pigue..

Just this month we featured you two diamond watches from Audemars Piguet called Coup de Theater and the Carnet de Bal. The watch shown above is another Audemars Piguet creation that shows once again his creativity and the complexity of setting diamonds in a watch.

Just like his first two diamond watches this watc
h is also made with a very complicated design and style which highlights this watch. This watch required lots of hours to create and the outcome is indeed very overwhelming. This watch has a white gold case that is surrounded by diamonds. It sets the attention to the dial which is crafted from mother of the pearl which is embellished various sizes of diamonds. This watch is accented by the blue hour and minute hands which also complements the luxuriousness of this timepiece. The bracelet of this luxury watch is made from interconnected white gold rings which are also embellished with the bright and sparkling diamonds.

Just like the first two this diamond watch is a must have for the classy and luxurious women who prefer being the star of the night or center of attention. Wear this with any dress and become an instant attraction.

Functions
All watches provide the time of day, giving at least the hour and minute, and usually the second. Most also provide the current date, and often the day of the week as well. However, many watches also provide a great deal of information beyond the basics of time and date. Some watches include alarms. Other elaborate and more expensive watches, both pocket and wrist models, also incorporate striking mechanisms or repeater functions, so that the wearer could learn the time by the sound emanating from the watch. This announcement or striking feature is an essential characteristic of true clocks and distinguishes such watches from ordinary timepieces. This feature is available on most digital watches.

Types
Fashion
Wristwatches are often appreciated as jewelry or as collectible works of art rather than just as timepieces. This has created several different markets for wristwatches, ranging from very inexpensive but accurate watches (intended for no other purpose than telling the correct time) to extremely expensive watches that serve mainly as personal adornment or as examples of high achievement in miniaturization and precision mechanical engineering.

Computerized multi-function watches
Many computerized wristwatches have been developed, but none have had long-term sales success, because they have awkward user interfaces due to the tiny screens and buttons, and a short battery life. As miniaturized electronics became cheaper, watches have been developed containing calculators, tonometers, barometers, altimeters, video games, digital cameras, keydrives, GPS receivers and cellular phones. In the early 1980s Seiko marketed a watch with a television in it. Such watches have also had the reputation as unsightly and thus mainly geek toys. Several companies have however attempted to develop a computer contained in a wristwatch.

For space travel
Zero gravity environment and other extreme conditions encountered by astronauts in space requires the use of specially tested watches. On April 12, 1961, Yuri Gagarin wore a Shturmanskie (a transliteration of Штурманские which actually means "navigator's") wristwatch during his historic first flight into space. The Shturmanskie was manufactured at the First Moscow Factory.

For scuba diving
Watches may be crafted to become water resistant. These watches are sometimes called diving watches when they are suitable for scuba diving or saturation diving. The International Organization for Standardization issued a standard for water resistant watches which also prohibits the term "waterproof" to be used with watches, which many countries have adopted

How to Even Out Your Skin Tone

She key to a flawless face is an even skin tone. Even the most beautiful women in the world need a bit of help now and then [check out Heidi Klum sans makeup, pictured right].

Makeup expert Trish McEvoy taught me the key to a flawless face is not perfect eye makeup application or the right shade of lipstick. Its evening out your skin tGetting your skin tone right, according to McEvoy, is more important than any other part of your makeup routine. The trick is make it appear as if you arent wearing any makeup at all. Here are a few steps to even-ing out your skin tone.

Rule #1: Exfoliate
Chances are if you dont exfoliate daily or weekly, your skin is covered in dead skin cells that are mucking up the surface of your skin and causing your skin to not only look dull, but older as well. Without proper exfoliation, foundation wont smooth over your skin cleanly and moisturizer wont properly soak in.

Exfoliate with face scrubs, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, beta alpha hydroxy pads or any Vitamin A product like Retin-A.

Rule #2: Prep the Face

Foundations and tinted moisturizers glide over a moisturized, plumped face so much better than a dry one. Plump up skin with a primer with SPF [primers have been The New Thing now for more than a oouple years]. If you dont have a primer, moisturizers with SPF will do. Make sure the SPF is at least 15.

Rule #3: Even Out Skin Tone

The next step is to apply foundation or tinted moisturizer [tinted moisturizer tends to be more sheer]. Make sure the foundation or TM blends perfectly into skin. If its too light or too dark it will be noticeable. Apply only on the areas that need it most: Usually along the nose and on the cheeks and chin.

Rule #4: Cover Up Under-Eye Circles, Blemishes and Red Spots

A few dots of a creamy concealer under the eyes and on any blemishes helps remove the "veiny" or "bluish" appearance under the eyes many women have. Remember to pat, dont rub, concealer in. one.

Rule #5: Prep the Lids
Even if you arent going to be applying eyeshadow, youll want to apply a lid base to lids to even out skin there. Most peoples lids have blue veins. Concealing them with a base or primer created for the lids helps even out your overall skin tone.

Rule #6: Bring Back Some Color

Once skin tone is evened out, youll notice your skin lacks color. Bring it back in with bronzer, a creamy blush or both. Apply bronzing powder with a big fluffy brush on all the spots the sun naturally hits: Forehead, cheeks and nose. Follow with a creamy blush on the apple of your cheeks. [Cream blushes create a "dewy" complexion better than powder blushes, and help plump up skin].

Rule #7: Set the Face

Your last step to a perfect complexion is setting the face with a powder. This is a step I often avoid because I love how dewy my complexion is without powder. Plus, at this point, Im lazy. But many makeup artists insist on this step.
Now that your face is "on" you'll notice you dont even have to apply much eye makeup to look fresh and spectacular. Even just a bit of mascara and a hint of gloss is enough for most women to look fantastic.

Makeup Tips For Women On A Budget

Every woman loves to look her best. However, sometimes women think that they cannot get makeup on a budget so do not make an effort to buy any. But, it is not at all difficult if you are on a budget and yet want to feel good and look better.

A few makeup tips should guide you along:

When you want to buy a product, have a read up on reviews of customers. Rating is done by consumers and that should give you an idea on the type of product you want to buy.

Buy makeup kits with everything in one convenient compact. For example, if you could get two eye shadows, two lipsticks, one blush, it will save you money rather than buying each one separately.

Choose products that are multi task. A shimmer could also add sparkle either to the eyes or cheeks.

To look natural and if you are fair, avoid concealer foundation and go in for a lightweight tinted moisturizer.

Be alert and purchase a product where you get another free product with it. It’s a great way to save money.

Bleach your own teeth. There are a number of home whitening kits available today. Good white teeth will improve confidence and do away from dentists fees.

Do your own manicure at home by buying a kit. It comes with instructions as well. Valuable money will be saved.

Vinegar is a good cosmetic aid. Equal quantities of vinegar and warm water will cure dandruff and dry scalp. Equal quantities with cold water gives the hair a good shine. It also tones the skin if applied.

Make your own hair spray. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar to a 12 oz. spray bottle of water. Shake until the sugar dissolves. You have your own hair spray.

Use your kitchen to fight skin problems. Dab a little toothpaste on your pimple and leave overnight. For blackheads, mix equal quantities of honey and oatmeal. Make a paste and rub on the face. Keep for 5 minutes. Your skin problems will disappear.
